| Description Aerocentro offers two basic
Pilot Courses:
- Private
Pilot: This course is designed
for the student who wishes to learn to
fly but does not want to become a
Commercial Pilot and make aviation his
career.
- Commercial
Pilot: This course is designed
for the student who wishes to make a
career in aviation as a Pilot.
The flight
training of both courses is provided in well
equipped Piper Cherokee aircrafts, models
PA28-140, PA28-161 and PA28-181.

courses given by Aerocentro are certified and
authorized by the Civil Aeronautics of
Colombia,
in accordance to the procedures and international
regulations of the FAA and the ICAO.Program Contents
Ground
School
All de Ground
School courses meet the requirements of the Civil
Aeronautics authority and are dictated by very
experienced professionals in well equiped classes
rooms. Over and above the subjects that are
mandatory in the Pilot Courses, Aerocentro
provides other programs that enhance academic
excellence.

Courses shown in
red must be taken before the start of the
flight training.
Flight
Training
The flight
training required by the aeronautical
authorities for this type of license is 100
flight hours minimum, for the Private Pilot
category and 200 flight hours for the Commercial
Pilot category. Part of the flight training
involves dual command time with experienced and
certified instructors.

Instrument
flight training (IFR) is provided in advanced
flight simulators which compliment the
instruction received in flight.Safety is emphasized in all
aspects of training.
