In 1970, Aerocentro

authorized to dictate a course in aerial

two additional aircraft and modified them for
instruction.
In 1972, the first
group of Army Officers graduated from the school.
This was followed by a Pilot's course for Police
Officers.
In 1975 Aerocentro
expanded its training program to include
instruction in helicopters.
In 1976, Aerocentro
initiated a course in sky diving and modified two
airplanes for this purpose.
In 1980 Aerocentro
purchased its first twin engine aircraft which
permitted it to offer multi-engine training both
for private and commercial pilots.
Recently, Aerocentro
was authorized by Colombian Civil Aeronautics to
provide advanced ground school training for DC-9,
DASH and Boeing 727 aircraft.
